Pterodactyl hunters is now available at Atomic Comics in Baltimore and will be arriving very soon at Quimby’s in Chicago. if you are find yourself in either of those cities you should check out either of those two very good bookstores.

The Pterodactyl Hunters (in the Gilded City) is all done and back from the printers. 36 page comic on newsprint. you can get them for free at desert island comics and spoonbill and sugartown book in williamsburg. or you can email me and i will mail you one if you send me two bucks to cover the postage.

i did this as a wedding gift for my good friends Nick and Emily. this was the second version that i did on cold pressed paper. The one i gave to them was on hot pressed paper which i think worked a little bit better.

some sketches for a comic that will be in the derring-do #3 mocca zine. the comic will be about ice hockey players that died either on the ice of from injuries sustained during games. these are portraits (from photos) of Bill Masterson (who is the reason everyone wears helmets now), Howie Morenz (who took his damn time dying after a massive broken leg), and Allan Looney (who didn’t die on the ice, but murdered an opponent with his stick during a game).
